One Person.
One Movement.
This started as an idea. I wanted to make a commercial that felt like Nike or New Balance — cinematic, athletic, emotionally alive. But I didn't want to make just another mood piece. I wanted it to have real community impact.
So I reached out to Los Corridos de Atlanta — a running collective born from the Latin community that grew into something bigger. A movement where everyone belongs. Where you can walk it, run it — just don't skip it.
The commercial captures that spirit: Alex starts his morning run solo. Speaker in hand, music playing, moving through Atlanta at blue hour. As he moves through the city, people recognize the vibe. One by one, they join. What begins as a solo run becomes a celebration of community.
Shot with a real running group. This is a cinematic story about belonging, culture, and the quiet power of showing up.
Reference.
Then Realize.
Every project starts with a reference deck. For Los Corridos, I pulled from athletic brand films I admire — pieces that use motion, texture, and portrait to make you feel something before you understand what you're watching.
The look: soft grit. Motion blur alongside crisp real-time. Slower shutter speeds cut against clean coverage. Portraits at the end, one after another, to symbolize the individual becoming part of the group.
Blue Hour.
Real People.
Shot across Atlanta at blue hour with a mix of motion blur and real-time coverage. Real runners. Real community. No models. No stand-ins.
"Not everything great starts with a client.
Sometimes it starts with a run."
