Show It.
Then Tell It.
The founder came to us wanting a lead magnet video for Grantboost. The easy version was a talking head walking through features. But that's not the kind of video that stops the scroll — or actually converts.
So we asked a better question: what does it actually feel like to struggle with grant applications? That became the whole film.
We rented an office studio in Buckhead with a good view. I set-dressed the desk with papers, scrunched-up drafts, markers, a chaotic calendar, stacks of books — everything a person drowning in grant writing actually looks like. We cast Rebecca Casselman as the talent: typing, printing, scribbling, crumpling. Nothing working.
Then the shift. She discovers Grantboost. Her desk clears. Her posture changes. She smiles. She's moving forward. Meanwhile she's giving us a scripted VO that reads like a real testimonial — because that's what it's designed to feel like.
The whole idea was to make the viewer feel it. Not explain the software feature-by-feature. Show the frustration. Show the relief. Make someone watching think — that's me.
Chaos.
Then Clarity.
The entire film is built on a single tension: the mess before the solution, and the calm after. Two states. One shift. Told visually so anyone struggling with grant writing recognizes themselves — and the way out.
This is what a lead magnet does when it's built as a story instead of a sales pitch. It sells by making the viewer feel understood before they ever click.
Frames from
the Set.
Shot in a single day at a Buckhead office studio. Set-dressed for tension. Cast for authenticity. Lit for cinema.
"I had no idea how it would turn out, but you definitely exceeded my expectations. You created a story within a few seconds and showed the real struggle that people go through."
Built for
Performance.
The film wasn't just built to look good — it was built to convert. From a single production day, we delivered three edits: one clean-ending version, plus two CTA variants for testing different campaigns.
This is what foundational creative looks like. One shoot. Three assets. Ongoing return.
